Chelsea are very much interested in signing Crysencio Summerville this summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.

It is no secret that we have been one of the biggest spenders in the transfer windows over the last few seasons, and it is also no secret that Enzo Maresca wants to add a bit more quality to the side.

As Leeds United failed to win promotion in the recent campaign, it caused a surge in rumours linking a number of their highly-rated players with moves away from Elland Road.

Summerville, who at 22-years-old produced 33 goal contributions in the second tier is a player that some of the big Premier League sides are very much interested in signing over the next few months of the window,

On that note, Fabrizio Romano has provided a fresh update regarding Summerville’s future with Liverpool and Chelsea mentioned as two clubs that are interested in getting a transfer deal done for the star.

“Liverpool and CHELSEA have both been scouting Crysencio Summerville for months, but then in terms of negotiations, nothing has started yet,” he tells CaughtOffside.

“Talk of the Reds no longer being interested in the winger can’t be true as it is still early for this transfer.

‘The appreciation from both clubs is still there, so we have to see if they decide to approach Leeds for Summerville at some point during the transfer window.”
