Chelsea have submitted offer to sign £50 million rated Brazilian Raphinha
Chelsea have submitted a late move to try and sign Leeds star Raphinha
The transfer window has been open for a few weeks now and it has come down to deadline day that we will move to get their deals done, and with the fact that the club need to reignite their season, Thomas Tuchel needs to freshen up the squad.
Manchester City are winning on a weekly basis, while we are not, and although they are still in that Premier League title race, their results have been too inconsistent over the past few months to give pundits cause to say they will be Champions by the end of the season.
And Raphinha is a player that the club may look to sign over the next for weeks of business.
Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner have managed just 10 goals between them in all competitions this season, and although they have impressed at times this year, Tuchel is not fully convinced that they have the quality to win titles
Raphinha, 25, managed six goals in his first season in the Premier League, and the Brazilian winger has already surpassed that tally in the current campaign after netting eight times.
And reports have claimed we have made late contact with Leeds about a possible deal for the Brazilian star, although Leeds do not wish to sell their star man for anything less than £50 million
The Brazilian is under contract until the summer of 2024, so if Chelsea were going to get a deal done, they would have to do some hard earned convincing.
Wow if this report is true and Raphinha is a player that we are interested in, he would be a great signing. He really should be at a bigger club.
Raphinha is destined to play for one of the big clubs in the Premier League, he has the quality on the ball and the charisma off it to be a star, would offer Tuchel something different in attack and bring in another goal threat, he would be a very good signing for the club.
