Chelsea still have chance to sign £200M superstar

CHELSEA still have a chance to sign PSG star Kylian Mbappe, judging by the latest reports.

The Frenchman is one of the most talked about players in world football and a player that will be signed up for free at the end of the season after the decision was made to leave PSG.

Real Madrid are the clear favourites to try and sign the World Cup winner when his contract officially runs out – and there has even been some claims that Mbappe already has an agreement to make the move to La Liga.

However – Speaking to RMC Sport, as quoted by GFFN, Kylian Mbappé’s entourage have now dismissed reports of an agreement with Real Madrid. A statement reads: “There is no agreement regarding Kylian’s future, just as there aren’t any discussions on this subject.

‘In any case, no kind of influence can dictate the timing of Kylian’s discussions, thoughts or his decision.”

Earlier this week, after helping PSG win their twelfth Trophee des Champions – the French League Cup – Kylian Mbappe commented on his future. As quoted by Footmercato, he revealed an agreement he has with Nasser Al-Khelaifi ahead of the summer.

“I’m very motivated for this year, it’s very important,” said the Frenchman. “We have titles to go after and we took one. I haven’t made my decision, I haven’t made a choice.

“But with the agreement I made with the president this summer, whatever my decision, we managed to protect all parties and preserve the serenity of the club for the challenges to come, which remains the most important. (…) If I know what I’m going to do, it won’t take long.”
