The Blues have now confirmed that Joao Felix has departed CHELSEA and signed a permanent deal with Al-Nassr in a deal worth around the £44 million mark

Felix is one of a number of players Chelsea have put up for sale this summer along with the likes of Christopher Nkunku, Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson.

Felix and Chelsea had been in advanced talks with Benfica but the 25-year-old, as the Portuguese giants wanted him back at the club, but he has snubbed his boyhood club in favour of a move to Saudi Arabia.

By joining Al Nassr – in a deal worth around £44m – Felix will link up with his international teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi and will reportedly earn around the £400k-a-week mark.

The Blues posted: The Portugal international made 20 appearances in all competitions for the Blues last season, netting seven goals following his summer move to Stamford Bridge from Atletico Madrid.

‘He spent the second half of the 2024/25 campaign on loan at AC Milan and has now departed the Blues on a permanent basis, joining Saudi Pro League side, Al-Nassr.

‘We thank Joao for his efforts across his two spells at the club and wish him well for the future.’

IcChelseanews Says…

Joao Felix could never fulfil his real potential at the top level, he has cost many clubs some serious money, but he has not had the impact that many fans would have hoped for, so it is sad to see that he has made the move to Saudi Arabia now.

In the end though, i think this is best for everyone involved
