Belgian Terreur opens up and announces Chelsea superstar Hazard ‘is waiting’ for offer

Belgian football expert Kristof Terreur has claimed Chelsea forward Eden Hazard is “waiting” for Real Madrid to make a move to sign him.

Despite the fact we are ready to hand him a massive contract to sign, the 28-year-old has refused to commit his future to the Premier League club, despite having just over a year left on his current deal.

And that has led to a lot of speculation which has suggested Madrid may consider this summer the perfect moment to reignite their interest in the Belgium captain, after missing out on a £150 million move last summer.

And according to Terreur, Hazard is waiting for Madrid to make an offer, telling the Transfer talk podcast: “He has rejected two contract offers so far and says that he doesn’t want to sign right now. That means he is waiting for something and that something means just one thing, Real Madrid.

“Real Madrid are still interested as far as I know, but they are still yet to make their move. They don’t have a personal agreement with him at this point, they don’t have an agreement with Chelsea and they haven’t even made the phone call like they did last summer.”

“When they called last summer, Marina Granovskaia said that he wasn’t for sale and Real respected that.

“But they might come back in again as they need to strengthen their squad after this season and it is easier to get players with just over a year left on a contract.”

Is Hazard waiting for Madrid to make a move?

Hazard has admitted he is happy here and will stay if Madrid don’t make that offer, but it seems his mind is made up and no amount of money will keep him right now, the summer will surely see the back of Hazard at the club.
