Mendes working hard to negotiate £60 million Chelsea signing

CHELSEA FC are reportedly targeting SL Benfica defender Antonio Silva as a possible replacement for Thiago Silva.

There is still a lot of speculation surrounding the players that Mauricio Pochettino will look to sign during the Summer window, especially now that Thiago Silva is expected to leave the club at the end of the season.

That has led to some rumours in the media which have claimed that we tried to get a transfer deal done for Silva in the last few days of the January window, but failed to get a deal done.

According to El National t, renowned agent Jorge Mendes is trying to negotiate a deal between the two clubs for Silva and is eager for the lad to make the move to the Premier League giants.

Silva has been very impressive this season and it would be interesting to see if he could handle the pressure of playing for one of the big clubs in the Premier League.

But i am sick of seeing all these talents linked with the club and would love for the board to add a few new world class acts to the side
