Here is the latest Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys could have missed from icchelseanews…

Much talked about striker Armando Broja is keen to join Everton from CHELSEA if he is given the opportunity before the transfer deadline, according to the latest news in the media this week.

The club have sold the likes Ian Maatsen, Lewis Hall, Omari Hutchinson and Hakim Ziyech, to name a few,  so far this summer, while they are open to offers for Romelu Lukaku, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Conor Gallagher and Trevoh Chalobah.

Many reports have claimed that the club are also hoping to offload Armando Broja this summer after he failed to make the kind of impact at the club that many had hoped for, with injuries and poor loan spells plaguing his time with the club.

Many reports over the weeks have constantly claimed we will try to make sure that Broja is let go in order to free up some space in the squad, and funds to pursue other transfer targets, but no move has happened yet.

However – The Albania international is expected to depart Stamford Bridge this summer – with recent reports claiming that Everton have made a move to get the player signed up on a loan.

Now, according to i News. Broja is very keen to make the move to Everton and is keen to get a deal done as soon as possible.

Broja is a very good young striker – but he is not good enough to lead our attack next season adn a move away may be the best thing for him – and could make some space for a possible new signing.

NETO MAKES CHELSEA ADMISSION –

Pedro Neto has been at Chelsea for the past few days now and after making the move to Stamford Bridge – the Portuguese star has opened up and revealed he wants to help the club get back to the very top of the game.

He is tipped to become a big part of that Enzo Maresca side and now the attacker has opened up and revealed why he joined Chelsea and what he is looking to achieve in the coming seasons: ‘It’s a big club, with big ambitions,’ he tells the club website

‘I know the history the club has. I’m really looking forward to meeting my teammates, meeting the staff, and meeting everyone else, because I want to make history with the club.

‘It’s a young squad with really talented players. I played against Chelsea last year and I know the team we have. I can’t wait to meet them and work with them because we can do great things.’

‘I like to play in the three positions in the front,’ Neto explains. ‘I have played more in the wide areas at Wolves but inside is also good for me, I don’t have a preference.

‘I hope to bring work, I hope to bring faith to the team, to bring wins, to bring goals, to bring assists, and to bring everything to make everybody happy here.’

‘I want to do my best, help the team achieve their goals, and put CHELSEA where they deserve to be: at the top,’ Neto pledges.

‘My expectations for myself are always high. The expectations here are high, so I’m looking forward to showing people why I am here, and that I deserve to be at the very top level.’

OSIMHEN MAKES BLUES DECISION –

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen would rather make the move to CHELSEA this summer over a move to French giants PSG.

Osimhen has been a player that we have been looking at signing for the last few seasons and a player that definitely wants to leave Napoli this summer after handing in a transfer request in order to force a move.

Chelsea and PSG are the two clubs that are reportedly leading the chase to get the man all signed up – but According to journalist Simon Phillips writing on his Substack site this week, Osimhen would rather join the Blues over the French giants

Phillips says: “Chelsea want Osimhen though, and Osimhen wants Chelsea. SPTC sources have confirmed that the striker prefers a move to Chelsea and the Premier League over PSG.

“This could also make Arsenal a threat, should they move in for him. But we haven’t yet heard that they will be moving for him. PSG of course are still there, and so are Saudi clubs. But Osimhen’s preference is the Premier League, and he is keen on joining CHELSEA despite no Champions League football.

“Sources also understand that both Didier Drogba and John Obi Mikel have been involved and in the ear of Osimhen to push him towards Chelsea, although there hasn’t needed to be much pushing in that sense. They’ve also been pushing Chelsea to sign him!”

Look, if we managed to sign Osimhen – he would be a great signing – it is that simple.
