Chelsea have COMPLETED the signing of impressive star

There has been some reports which have claimed that Chelsea have completed the signing of young Southampton goalkeeper Eddie Beach

The 18-year-old was part of Saints’ Premier League South U18 title-winning team – and is a player that the clubs coaches think very highly of – and had hoped to be part of the first team side in the coming seasons

But with Southampton understood to be close to sealing a deal to sign Republic of Ireland international Gavin Bazunu from Manchester City – and experienced goalkeeper Willy Caballero reportedly agreeing a new one-year deal with the club – his chances of getting into that first-team side have dimmed

Now he now looks set to depart, with football.london reporting that we have agreed a fee with Southampton for the teenager, who had extended his scholarship deal with the club and who had attracted interest from several clubs.

The club are one of the biggest in the world and continually try and sign young players that have the ability to make an impact on that first-team

If the reports are true and Beach has agreed that move to Stamford Bridge – it is a massive move to make for the lad and he must be very excited

However – it could also be a massive mistake as he will have a very hard time of it trying to break into that first-team – so many young talents have been signed – then loaned out and then sold because they werent good enough

He may never actually break into that first-team in the coming seasons – and may just be sent out on loan – like many others

But as we said – he must be excited about the move and will hope that his dream will one day come true
