Swede announces Chelsea have signed Anderson as Man United told to sign unhappy Kante
Chelsea are set to sign the ‘next Cristiano Ronaldo’ in Swedish youngster Edwin Andersson.
We may be facing a transfer ban, but that has not stopped speculation about whom they could acquire in the coming transfer windows and now there are reports which have suggested that the Blues have beaten off the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool to sign the talented 15-year old.
His father, Mikael, has said the 15-year-old IFK Gothenburg youngster is coming to Stamford Bridge when he turns 16.
“There have been an incredible number of clubs from virtually all countries that have been interested in him,” Andersson Sr said.
“But he has chosen to go to Chelsea when it’s time.
“According to the rules he must be 16 first and then it is up to the clubs to agree.
“There’s still some details, but the day it’s time he has decided that it’ll be Chelsea.”
Meanwhile, Manchester United have been told to ditch Ander Herrera in the summer window and try to replace him with midfielder N’Golo Kante, claims Dominic Matteo.
It is no secret that Herrera is heading towards the summer exit signs at Old Trafford after failing to agree a new contract with the club, with some reports suggesting United are unwilling to pay the £160,000-a-week wage demands that his agent has been asking for the last few months.
And United have been told to make a move for Kante if they do not agree a deal with Herrera, as he would be the perfect replacement for the Spaniard after becoming unsettled at Stamford Bridge this season with Maurizio Sarri failing to play him on his preferred deep-lying holding midfield role.
“[N’Golo] Kante’s been playing in that position for Chelsea,” Matteo said on the Man On The Street show.
“But it doesn’t look like he’s going to get a game there in front of Jorginho.
“For United, he would definitely be top of the list.”
