Chelsea have reportedly shown an interest in signing Maxence Lacroix after Wolfsburg set their asking price for the defender
Thomas Tuchel has done a very fine job at the club since his move to the Premier League and he he has been constantly praised for making this side one of the best defensively in the Premier League.
However, the German knows that he needs to strengthen in that area of the pitch and has been eyeing up a move for a few defenders, but it seems that the boss has made up his mind on whom he would like
The likes of Raphael Varane and Jules Kounde are just two players that have been linked with a move to the Bridge, but recent reports have claimed that if the German cannot get his top choices, then he has asked Abramovic to try and sign Lacroix.
Lacroix is widely regarded as one of the finest young defenders in the German top flight and Wolfsburg are reluctant to part with such a key player, but the right amount of money would get a deal done
Now Footmercato have come out and claimed that we have expressed an interest in getting the defender all signed up this transfer window, bit will have to pay close to £30 million to get a deal done.
The German side do not want to let the young man leave and are holding out for the best amount of money they possibly can
For the right amount of money he could be a very good signing for the club
