Chelsea seriously considering signing £60M star, Blues target confirms he wants move, Shock transfer move lined up

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest from icchelseanews that we think you guys could have missed featuring the likes of Marcus Rashford, Malo Gusto and Marc Guehi…
Long-term CHELSEA transfer target Marcus Rashford has opened the door to a potential Manchester United exit after confirming that he is ready for a new challenge after his struggles at the Red Devils.
Rashford is a player that has been at Man United all through his career, and was tipped to become one of the best attackers in the game a few seasons ago when he hit an impressive 30 goals, but since then it has all gone wrong.
He looks nothing like the player that could bang in goals on a weekly basis and because of that he has fallen well down the pecking order at Old Trafford, which has led to alot of rumours that we could make an offer in the upcoming January window.
Now, amid all the speculation and rumours, Rashford has opened up and admitted that he is ready for a new challenge – In a chat with journalist Henry Winter, the 27-year-old said: “For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps. When I leave it’s going to be ‘no hard feelings’. You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s me as a person.
“If I know that a situation is already bad I’m not going to make it worse. I’ve seen how other players have left in the past and I don’t want to be that person. When I leave I’ll make a statement and it will be from me.”
He added: “I’m halfway through my career. I don’t expect my peak to be now. I’ve had nine years so far in the Premier League and that’s taught me a lot, that’s helped me grow as a player and as a person.
“So I don’t have any regrets from the last nine years. I won’t have any regrets going forward because I take things day by day and sometimes bad things happen, and sometimes good things happen. I just try and keep a fine balance. 100%. That’s my mentality.”
When asked if he would always be a red at heart, Rashford quickly responded: “Yes! 100%. 100%.”
MALO GUSTO WANTED
Reports have emerged in the media today which has claimed that Liverpool are lining up an ambitious move to sign CHELSEA star Malo Gusto in the next couple of transfer windows.
Malo Gusto arrived at the club from Lyon in January 2023 for a reported £30.75m deal. The French defender has impressed since his arrival and has already made 13 appearances for the club this season
According to CaughtOffside, Liverpool are considering a raid of the full-back to replace the potentially outgoing Trent Alexander-Arnold.
England full-back Alexander-Arnold is out of contract in the summer and is being linked with a move to European giants Real Madrid and Premier League champions Manchester City.
Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong has also been linked with a move to Anfield in 2025, although the Netherlands international has rarely played as an auxiliary right-back in the Bundesliga
Despite reported interest from two of the biggest clubs in England, Gusto still has five-and-a-half years remaining on his current contract at Chelsea, so a departure seems fairly unlikely as things stand

Liverpool may want the player, they may feel that they can get a transfer deal done, but he is going nowhere and i feel that it would only take a sensational offer to even te,pt the club into getting a transfer deal done
MARC GUEHI MOED LINED UP
Fresh reports have claimed CHELSEA are seriously considering an offer to sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi when the January transfer window opens up in just a few weeks time
Enzo Maresca has done a wonderful job at Stamford Bridge so far this season and the Blues are now in the race to challenge for that Premier League title, but that hasnt stopped all the speculation about the players that the Blues could look to sign.
Guehi has been brilliant for Crystal Palace over the past few seasons, his stock in the game has really risen and he is now rated as one of the best central defenders in the Premier League and a player that we have been linked with signing, for a fee of £60 million.
That is according to CHELSEA reporter Simon Phillips, who reports that the Blues are “seriously considering” a move to bring back Marc Guehi in January.
The reports claim that a number of players are being lined up by the club to improve certain areas of the side, and adding a new centre-back that is already proven in the Premier League is something the board are very much open too.

There are not too many areas of the pitch that need to be improved, but if we managed to bring Guehi to the club in the January window, he would be a fantastic signing for the club as he is a quality Premier League player.
He is certainly welcome, it is as simple as that.
