Tuchel sent message about possible £50m Chelsea signing

Richarlison has been linked with a move to Chelsea this summer, but Ally McCoist is not convinced he is the answer to their problems.

Richarlison is a man that is a full Brazil International and one of the most highly-rated attacks in the Premier League – despite that poor season in front of goal this campaign

However – there has been alot of speculation in the media recently about his future at Everton and whether or not he will be leaving the club when the transfer window open up –

The club have reportedly been eyeing up a move for Richarlison for some time now – but that massive £80 million price tag that has been placed on his head is a fee that they have not been willing to pay

But With Romelu Lukaku heading back to Inter Milan on loan, Thomas Tuchel will be looking to bolster his attacking options and is reportedly ready to try and complete a transfer deal for the Brazilian

However – amid all the speculation – McCoist has opened up and told the new board that Richarlison may not be the answer to the clubs goal-scoring problems – McCoist told talkSPORT Breakfast: “It’s not startling figures, but in a team that is struggling and in many people’s opinion could have gone down last year it isn’t too bad.

“I’m not sure he’s the answer to Chelsea’s goalscoring problems.”

He would not the the main striker at Stamford Bridge- but he would offer them goals from the wing – and the way Thomas Tuchel plays – he would suit the system at Stamford Bridge

He is a player that has the ego for a big club like Chelsea – and seems to have the ability to back that up too
