Chelsea looking to get January deal for defender
CHELSEA “will look to sell” Malang Sarr this January following his lack of game time at the club – Pundit Paul Robinson has claimed.
The talented defender came to Stamford Bridge with alot of hop that he could develop into one of the very best defenders in the game – but he has not been given the game time needed for that to happen – and he has been a bit of a flop.
He spent last season out on loan with French giants Monaco – but the Ligue 1 outfit opted against giving him a permanent move to the club and sent him packing back to Stamford Bridget.
But Sarr is completely out of the picture at the club and Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Tottenham and England goalkeeper Paul Robinson had little hope that the centre-back would remain at Stamford Bridge.
Robinson claimed Sarr was a “victim” of the Blues’ bloated squad and, having not played a single minute of action this season, has no future at the club,
“If you look at the loan moves he’s had at the lack of first-team opportunities, it’s time for him to go,” he told Football Insider.
“Yes, he came with big expectations, but with the new manager there now trying to create a new style, it just seems he’s a victim of the amount of personnel in the squad.
“If you’re not getting a look in before all this happened, and now there are all these players and you’re still not playing, then it’s probably time for him to move on and CHELSEA will look to sell.

His dream to make it at the club is over – he is not part of the plans at the club and will only get game time if there is a number of injuries ahead of him, so if a club does come forward, he needs to leave.
