Lampard ready to cash and sell German in order to bring £60 million Gimenez to the Bridge

Reports have claimed Chelsea may look to offload Antonio Rudiger and replace him with Jose Gimenez.

We may be getting many in the Premier League excited for the start of next season, especially with the transfer deals that they have already done, but they need to delve into that kitty and land a new central defender.

We have already conceded more goals at the back than any side in the top 10 of the Premier League, and will not be able to challenge for that title if frank Lampard does not get the defensive players that will improve the side.

And that has led to speculation in the media which have claimed that we are lining up a possible transfer move for the very impressive Gimenez, who is very highly-rated over in La Liga and is also being chased by Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

And Rudiger is possibly going to be sold this summer as Frank Lampard has ambitious transfer plans with Mundo Deportivo in Spain are reporting this interest with the Blues hoping to replace Rudiger with Gimenez

Rudiger has been a big part of the  back-line this season, but he has looked very shaky at times in that  shirt and Lampard knows that he may be able to get some good money for the German.

They have conceded too many goals over the course of the season and losing that FA Cup final against Arsenal should not have happened if the back-line was able to keep a clean sheet, they should have won that.
