Chelsea move to be made? Sarri opens up on £70 million traget Insigne
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has announces transfer target and Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne is the best player in Seria A.
Sarri arrived here at Stamford Bridge with only a few weeks left to go in the transfer window and only managed to complete a few transfer deals, as he only manged to acquire the services of Mateo Kovacic, Jorginho and Kepa.
But with the January transfer window just a few months away, there has been some speculation that we could make a £70 million offer to try and sign up Napoli star Insigne, who was linked with us during the summer transfer window but couldn’t open talks about a possible deal as the Italians did not want to lose another star man to their former boss.
Sarri has been keeping a very close eye on Insigne and has now added fuel to the fire that a move could be made in January, by announcing the £70 million rated star ‘is the best’ in Serie A right now, telling Football Italia: ‘Insigne is the best Italian player right now.
‘After Lorenzo, I’d put Federico Bernardeschi, who is on his way to soon becoming world class. I’ll add Federico Chiesa in third, as he is a pure talent, generous, dynamic: he has the capabilities of someone born to succeed, he just needs to work on refining.’
Could we really strike a deal for Insigne? here is what we think.
Napoli have a very exciting and dynamic team with a number of their players linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, but Insigne is just the type of player that could help Eden Hazard score some goals for the club, especially since Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud cannot do the job they have been paid for.
So if Chelsea can talk Napoli into letting Insigne go, for a fee of around £70 million, then we honestly believe he would make the side better than it already is.
