Sarri opens up and announces ‘i hope’ Hazard signs big Chelsea contract

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is hoping that Eden Hazard follows N’Golo Kante in signing a new deal with Chelsea.

After months of speculation linking Kante with a move away from Stamford Bridge, he ended all talk that he could be leaving to sign a new deal that is worth a whopping £290,000-a-week, which reportedly makes him the highest paid player at the club.

But we are now hoping to convince star man Hazard to commit his long-term future with the club, with all suggestions that he could depart the club at the end of the season and make his way to  Real Madrid.

And Sarri has admitted that he hopes to see Hazard follow and sign a big new deal, telling the Sky Sports website: “Eden, I don’t know the evolution of the deal for the new contract. (But) I think we can do.

Asked if he was optimistic of Hazard extending his stay, Sarri said: “I hope so. I hope so.”

Will Eden be tempted into signing a new deal here?

Hazard is a man that has big dreams, big goals to win the Champions League and Ballon D’Or titles so offering him a big wage will simply not be enough if we seriously want to make sure that he does not leave the club in the coming windows.

Success in both the Premier League and Europe, plus a few world class signings could convince him that Stamford Bridge is the best place for his future, especially since Madrid are heading in the wrong direction after the sale of star man Cristiano Ronaldo.

Eden will be tempted into a deal, but not or just the money.
