Juventus star Alex Sandro admits he dreams of playing in the Premier League in the future, with Chelsea linked with a big move.
Regarded as one of the finest full-backs in Europe, Sandro has been linked with a shock move to Stamford Bride after reports emerged which claimed Maurizio Sarri is keen to spend £200 million in the January window on improving his squad.
Juve are reportedly demanding a fee of around €60million (£53m) from potential suitors for Sandro which we are reportedly ready to pay, and would sell in January if they found an adequate replacement.
And although Sandro has admitted he is happy, the 27-year old has admitted he has a dream to play in the Premier League.
Asked about playing in England while on international duty with Brazil, Sandro said on the TMW website: ‘I think, one day, who knows what will happen?
‘I have a desire to play in the Premier League but right now I am very happy where I am at, the club I am at [Juventus], the league I am playing in.
‘So today my only thought is to continue where I am because that’s where I feel happy.
Could Sandro be a good buy for the club?
Sandro is a top-class attacking full-back that would bring some much needed strength in depth to the side and if Sarri can complete a potential deal, then yes he would be a good buy for the club.
However, for £53 million? that is a bit much for a guy that may be behind Marcos Alonso in the pecking order.
