Klopp opens up and hands Chelsea boost in £100 million Jadon Sancho chase
Jurgen Klopp has ruled out a summer move for Chelsea transfer target Jadon Sancho
The Borussia Dortmund forward has been tentatively linked with a move to Liverpool in recent months, with reports suggesting that he is seen as the replacement for Sadio Mane, should the winger leave to sign with Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Sancho is one of the best talents in the game right now and the type of player that Jurgen Klopp loves, especially as he will not need to improve his squad ahead of next season.
Weare also very keen on the services of Sancho, although our interest has wavered a bit over the past few months as they are keen on a cheaper alternative in <a Kai Havertz
And now they have been handed a massive boost by Klopp, after the German boss opened up and admitted that he will not be making a move for Sancho in the summer window, but did admit the England star would “look good” in a Liverpool shirt.
Klopp was asked directly about Sancho at a live event hosted by German publication and replied: “A red jersey would look very good on Jadon. But I don’t think such a transfer will take place this summer.
“He is a very interesting player. If he moved to Liverpool, I would be the most surprised of all!”
Is Sancho comes to the Premier League, it will be very interesting to see just whom he joins, because he will become a very special player.
