Chelsea fans have been told why decision was made not to make Sancho move

David Ornstein has revealed why Chelsea changed their mind over making a move for Jadon Sancho.

There has been so much transfer speculation in the media about the future of Sancho that fans do not know what to believe, and whether or not their club will actually make a transfer move.

With 17 goals and 17 assists in the Bundesliga this season, Sancho is already considered to be one of the finest talents in European football, and that is why we have been heavily linked with the talebted winger

Nobody knows if he will actually make it back to the Premier League this summer, but The Borussia Dortmund star has been questioned over the speculation surrounding his future, and he has failed to rule out a possible move to the Premier League

But despite the speculation, wedecided to back out of the chase to sign the talented winger to let the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool to all chase the winger.

Now Ornestein has opened up and revealed just why we decided to not pursue a summer deal for Sancho, He told the Tifo Football podcast: “Sancho grew up as a Chelsea fan.

“There was dialogue with them, but the situation changed… as a result of the Covid crisis.”

If we really wanted to make Sancho a Chelsea player this summer, then we would have, but we havent and even though he is a brilliant player, the best thing for him right now is to stay put at Dortmund.
