Rugani father tells Chelsea £30m defender could leave Juventus in January
The father of Daniele Rugani has hinted the Chelsea target is ready to leave Juventus in the coming transfer window.
It is no secret Maurizio Sarri is lining up a January move for a new defender, with many believing in the media that Antonio Rudiger and David Luiz will eventually cost the side points, and a number of transfer targets have been linked with a move.
And Rugani, who is regarded as one of the best young defenders in Europe, has become frustrated at the lack of game time under boss Max Allegri and has been constantly linked with moves away.
Now, according to Corriere dello Sport, Rugani senior has dropped a big hint that his son is ready to end his spell in Turin for pastures new.
“There’s no need to say anything,” his father Ubaldo Rugani was quoted.
“This face tells you everything, but soon this story will end.
“And then we’ll take back everything we deserve, with interest.
“Vamos DR24, for all my life the best Italian defender.”[the_ad id=”238″]
Could Rugani be a good buy by us in the next couple of transfer windows?
We may be unbeaten this season under Sarri and may have an attack that could win any game, but adding a quality centre-half like Rugani should be a transfer priority for the impressing coach.
And if we can pull off a deal for the 24-year old then it could be a great bit of business for the club, for now, and in the long run.
