What a day for Chelsea news guys, here are our latest in todays daily roundup.

Chelsea have been alerted to the news that Real Madrid could consider selling Toni Kroos in the coming transfer windows, after upsetting his new boss.

We have started the new Premier League season in fantastic shape and are looking like a side that will be able to go on and challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title, if we can make a few subtle changes to the squad in the coming transfer windows.

Maurizio Sarri already has his eye on a potential deal for Daniel Rugani and Alessio Romagnoli, who are both impressing over in Serie A and could be sold by their respective clubs if the right offer arrives.

But the Italian could now decide to make a move for Kroos, who has not looked like a very happy player this season and could be shipped out as part of the Madrid revamping that will seemingly take place after their poor start to the new seasons.

And he has suggested at not being happy with his role in new manager Julen Lopetegui’s system, telling the media: ‘I like playing deeper, but I’m not Casemiro.”

Now, according to reports on the El Confidencial website, Kroos’ words have not gone down well with Real’s hierarchy, and there is a feeling that the Spaniards are ready to cash in and let him leave for the right price, with Chelsea linked with a possible deal.

Gonzalo Higuain has admitted he didn’t sign for Chelsea because Maurizio Sarri was the only person that wanted him.

The Argentine striker was on the radar of the Blues all summer long, with reports Maurizio Sarri was keen to add another world class striker to his squad after Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud failed to impress the Italian during their performances last season.

And it seemed Higuain was all set for a move to London, with Juventus ready to cash in and the Blues reportedly in deep talks about a £51 million transfer deal only for the player to make the shock decision to head over to Milan on a season long-loan.

Since then however, Chelsea have been linked with a move for the Argentine striker once again amid speculation both Morata or Giroud could be sold after failing to find the back of the net on a regular basis.

But even though Higuaín admitted he was close to signing for Chelsea, he has admitted he is very happy at the Italians.

He was quoted on the Sky Sports website: “There was a fundamental difference: everyone here [Milan] wanted me, from the club to the coach. Only the coach wanted me at Chelsea.”

Chelsea are all set to hand Eden Hazard a new £300,000-a-week deal, which he will reportedly sign according to reports.

We have all seen the headlines, read the constant reports that he is leaving the club at the end of the season and heading over to La Liga, where he believes is his best chance to win the Champions League and Ballon D’Or titles.

It fact there is such belief that he is leaving the club that many fans are wondering just whom will replace the great man, with Kylian Mbappe, Gareth Bale, Christian Pulisic and even Neymar reportedly on the shopping list of the Chelsea hierarchy, who will have £200 million to spend if Hazard left.

But according to the Daily Express website, he is now ready to snub the Spanish side at the end of the season and commit to a new £300,000-a-week deal, which will make him the highest paid player at Stamford Bridge, and in fact one of the biggest premier League earners.

Chairman Bruce Buck has come out recently and admitted that they will look to entice Hazard into staying on and signing that all important contract, that everyone at the club wants to see him stay and how important he is to the immediate success of the club, so offering him such a big contract is the obvious choice.

But right now Hazard is too conflicted and has even admitted lately that he is torn on whether or not to stay at Chelsea or Join Madrid, telling Sky Sports: “I want what’s good for me, but I want what’s good for the club because the club has given me everything.

“I don’t want to say: ‘Yes, I am signing a new contract’ and then in the end I don’t end up signing. So I will see. Sometimes in my head, I wake up in the morning and think I want to go. Sometimes I think I want to stay. It is a hard decision. It is my future. I am 27 and I will turn 28 in January. That’s why I spoke after the World Cup and I said that I think it is time to change because I played a great World Cup.

“I am really in the game, I am playing good football at the moment. Real Madrid is the best club in the world. I don’t want to lie today. It is my dream since I was a kid. I was dreaming about this club. We will see. I don’t want to talk about this every day. I don’t have time but we will talk about my future soon. I think so.”

The agent of Daniele Rugani has claimed Chelsea made a ‘very strong push’ to sign the Juventus centre-back in the summer transfer window.

Despite our brilliant start to the new Premier League season and the fact we are now looking like real challengers for Manchester City’s title, there is a growing feeling around England that Maurizio Sarri needs to add a top class defender to sit alongside David Luiz, as Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen are simply not good enough.

And that has led to speculation that the Italian is dead keen on the signing of Rugani, who is easily regarded as one of the finest talents in Serie A after a number of impressive performances for Juventus.

Now his agent has confirmed that we ‘made a very strong approach’ to sign Rugani, which Juventus reportedly considered, agent Davide Torchia told RMC Sport radio: ‘Chelsea made a very strong push to negotiate, Juve evaluated it, but the player never asked to leave. His objective was to earn his place in the starting XI.

“Juve believed in the player and we’ll discuss it during the contract renewal talks. It expires in 2021, so there is no urgency, but we cannot wait too long either.’
