Exciting defender Lavia announces summer move with Chelsea linked with transfer move?
Chelsea are interested in signing up Romeo Lavia, after he announced he was leaving Anderlecht.
It seems that one of Belgium’s most exciting players could be on the agenda of the club, as Romeo Lavia will be a wanted youngster when the transfer window officially opens up.
Lavia joined Vincent Kompany’s Anderlecht in 2012 and is capable of operating as a central defender or defensive midfielder, But the talented 16-year-old will leave without playing any first-team football for the club having announced on Instagram last week that he was leaving
“It’s with great emotion that I announce the end of my adventure at Anderlecht,” he wrote.
“I would like to thank all the wonderful people (staff, supporters and team-mates) that I have known daily, whether they be close or far away and who have always believed in me because you made me better.
“This club and its colours will keep a huge place in my heart! But now is the time for me after eight wonderful seasons to turn this page and write a new one full of surprises.”
The talented star is able to play in central defence of in the holding midfield role, and Belgium have big plans for the youngster in the coming seasons.
He has great potential and although he will not be a star for now, he is worth making a move for as he clearly has the potential to go on and hopefully become a top class player.
Lets see if we do make a transfer offer for the lad.
