£150 million rated midfielder has made decision Chelsea is move he wants
Declan Rice would favour a move to Chelsea if he was to leave West Ham this summer, the latest reports in the media have claimed.
Rice is a a player that is easily regarded as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and a man that is heavily tipped to join one of the big clubs in the next transfer window
It is no secret that Chelsea are long-term admirers of the player, and despite all the headlines about the takeover of the club, are still planning a summer move for the midfielder, if the new owner hands Thomas Tuchel some funds
And despite the fact that West Ham do not want to lose Declan Rice in the transfer window, there is still alot of rumours in the media that he is ready to leave in order to get some Champions League football
The Hammers midfielder has also been repeatedly linked with the Premier League’s so-called ‘Big Six’ with Man City and Manchester United considered to be leading the chase.
However, it is now understood that Rice would prefer a return to Stamford Bridge and the club he was released from as a child despite their current restrictions in the transfer market.
However, he will not come cheap as reports have claimed that West Ham have stuck a massive £150 million price tag on the players head
Former Tottenham defender Matt Dawson has recently claimed that the Hammers board will allow Declan Rice to leave for the right price: ‘Every player at his age is going to want to strive to be as successful as he can,” Dawson said. “He’s made a rapid rise, he is sensational and he deserves to play in the Champions League, he does
“He’s got the quality, we’ve seen for England in the summer, we’ve seen what he does for West Ham.
“West Ham are still fighting for that top four, they’ve got as good a chance as anyone else.
“West Ham don’t want to sell him, of course they don’t, David Moyes doesn’t want to sell him, but everyone’s got a price.
