Great news as impressive defender Reiten announces delight and happiness signing with the Chelsea
Guro Reiten has opened up and announced how happy she is with life at Chelsea FC after joining the side.
Reiten joinedthe Women ahead of the 2019/20 season from her native Norway, and the left-footed player has settled in well and has played a key part in the Blues’ impressive season so far, having featured in 23 games out of a possible 25.
And she has opened up and admitted how happy she is after her move, telling the club website: ‘Yes, it has been a great start,’
‘I knew I came to an outstanding team with a lot of good players.
‘I usually need time to find my place, new team-mates, a new style, and things like that, but it has gone very well. I feel like I have delivered and helped my team as well as I could.
‘Of course, I have high expectations to become better, so I just have to work even harder. It’s a tough and physical league, I’m sure that I’ve become tougher and I fight better in the one-on-one situations now.
‘I’m more athletic as well because of the pace of the game over here. You feel it in every part of the game, both the basic speed and the transition of the game.
‘You need to think faster, deliver quicker and be more active. I’m pretty sure I have developed as a player since I left Norway, at least that is what I want to believe.’
The womens game over in England is fast becoming the best in the world and all the games biggest women players want to test themselves at some of the biggest clubs out there right now.
She has been brilliant for the side this season and fully deserves all the praise she has been keeping.
Keep up the good work Guro
