Chelsea ready sign £58m Star – Striker ready join Chelsea in January – Maresca gives green light Blues deal to happen

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from icchelseanews that you could have missed…
Enzo Maresca has given the green light for Carney Chukwuemeka to leave CHELSEA in the January window after reports emerged suggesting that a few Italian clubs have already shown an interest.
The midfielder has endured an injury-laden time at the club since signing from Aston Villa, and he has only made one appearance for the Blues this season, a 14-minute cameo in their 5-0 win against League Two outfit Barrow.
Now it has been claimed that we are open to letting the midfielder leave the club in the summer, and Marcesa has given the green light over a possible transfer move to happen.
But there has mostly been interest in signing Chukwuemeka on loan, and CaughtOffside understands that is also Milan’s preference as they look for low-cost options to bolster their midfield for this January.
Maresca recently said it was better for Carney Chukwuemeka to leave in the summer for first-team football: “I think Carney is a very good player,” Maresca speaking after his side’s 4-2 win against Brighton.
“But for the amount of players that we have, we decided at the beginning of the season that for him it was probably better to leave and go somewhere to prove himself playing 30-35 games than to be here and play less games.
“Then unfortunately it didn’t happen. He’s one of our players. He had some minutes the other day and today he was not involved. Hopefully, we can give him more minutes.”
CHELSEA READY TO SIGN KUDUS –
Valued by the Hammers at £85million, the 23-year-old has really impressed in that West Ham shirt since his move from Ajax, and Maresca is thought to be a huge admirer of Kudus after seeing him in action during his time in the Netherlands.

Many people doubted that Kudus would be able to adapt to the quality and pace of the Premier League when he made the decision to sign for West Ham in the summer – but he really has impressed in that Hammers shirt.
£85 million for Kudus is alot of money and we are not even sure that he has the ability to score 20,30 goals a season that the club may need in the future. He would be a solid enough signing – but as we said – not for the kind of money that is being talked about.
It will be interesting to see who Maresca will get as boss – but spending that amount of money on the winger is simply something that they should not do.
We would get a world class act for that kind of cash – we just dont believe that Kudus is a player that will help drive the club towards Champions League football and to winning titles once again.
OSIMHEN TO CHELSEA IN JANUARY?
Victor Osimhen remains very interested in playing for Chelsea and is weighing up a move to Stamford Bridge in January, it has been claimed in the media.
We have been credited with a strong interest in Osimhen for a number of years and reportedly sent a delegation to Naples on deadline day to get a deal over the line for the striker ahead of the new season.
But a proposed transfer from Napoli to CHELSEA fell through and Osimhen went on to complete a season-long agreement with Galatasaray. but there is mounting speculation that the 25-year-old could soon be on the move again.
According to Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, Galatasaray are keen to sign Osimhen on a permanent basis from Napoli – but the Super Lig champions are likely to face stiff competition from Chelsea.
Osimhen’s €130million (£109m) release clause ceased to be active when he joined Galatasaray on loan and the forward will be available for just €81m (£68m) in the winter. This figure will drop again to €75m (£63m) next summer

Look, if there is a chance to get Osimhen – the club should make sure that they manage to get a deal done as the man is proven at the very highest level of the game and a player that could have a big impact on the side.
