Chelsea ready to do summer deal and get striker transfer deal done for £50M
CHELSEA would consider an offer for striker Nicolas Jackson if the right offer arrives this summer transfer window, according to reports.
The club have already bolstered their attacking options this summer with a £30 million deal to sign Liam Delap from Ipswich Town and a £60m move for Joao Pedro from Brighton last week, and there is talk that they will continue their summer of spending.
Delap scored his first Chelsea goal against ES Tunis in the Club World Cup group stage, while Pedro has made an immediate impact with his impressive displays already in that Blues shirt.
The Athletic report that Jackson is not deemed as ‘untouchable’ at the club and could be sold if they receive a high enough offer.
And amid all the speculation and rumours, reporter Iomie Stanley said: ‘Manager Enzo Maresca opted for João Pedro and Liam Delap in the Club World Cup, with Jackson limited to his game time
‘His red card and erratic disciplinary record (including another recent sending-off) undermine confidence in his reliability Italian clubs Juventus and Napoli have made exploratory contact, with Chelsea reportedly open to offers around £50 million
‘Jackson is only 24, so a move could provide a fresh environment to rebuild confidence and form—especially after injury disruptions and joining a club where he’s the focal point—rather than competing with a crowded forward line—might fully unlock his potential.
‘Given Chelsea’s overhaul up front, Jackson’s disciplinary issues, and sustained interest from strong suitors, a summer exit makes sense. He’d secure more minutes, rebuild form, and reignite his trajectory—while CHELSEA potentially cashing in and upgrading their attack.
