Chelsea transfer target Christian Pulisic says rumours are “not his priority” as he played down speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League.
With constant speculation regarding the future of star man Eden Hazard leaving for Real Madrid at the end of the season, we have been linked with a mega money move for £88 million rated Pulisic.
Hazard firmly believes that moving to La Liga will be the only opportunity he has to win the Champions League and Ballon D’or titles, which has been dominated by Barcelona and Madrid over the last ten years.
And the Borussia Dortmund forward, whose contract expires in June 2020, is rated as one of the best young talents in Europe and is tipped to become one of the worlds very best in a couple of seasons.
But, asked about the rumours, the 20-year-old has admitted that right now he is not worrying about a move away from Dortmund, telling the Sky Sports website: “Not much reaction for me.
“When the time comes for me to talk in the breaks with Dortmund about my future, then that’s when those things happen.
“Like I said before, reading these articles (about me), I tend to stay away from that stuff. I know it is going to be there but it is not my priority.”
Would Pulisic make any impact on the side as a replacement for Hazard?
Hazard is a superstar, Pulisic is a very young man who has a lot to prove in the game and until he reaches his full potential at Dortmund, replacing Hazard with the American would not bring the same kind of impact on the side that Hazard brings./
However, I would love to see Pulisic arrive at the club as he has brilliant potential and he would develop very nicely under Sarri, who plays the kind of football the American likes and enjoys.
