Chelsea closing in on deal as President flying into London for transfer talks

According to Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol, Metz’s president is flying to the UK today to hold talks with the likes of Chelsea over a transfer deal for Pape Sarr.

Despite all the rumours and despite all the speculation in the media about the players that we will look to sign this transfer window, the club have only managed to secure a transfer deal for Romelu Lukaku.

However, the club are a club that look to sign the best young talents in the game, and that has meant that they have been eyeing up a potential deal for the talented Sarr.

The 18-year-old only made his competitive debut last summer, and he has registered four goals from 27 outings in all competitions, and His progress has caught the eye of several European clubs.

FC Metz president Bernard Serin flying into Stansted airport this morning for talks with three Premier League chairmen about Pape Mate Sarr, and we are hoping to try and get a deal done.

Sarr is one of the most exciting talents in French football right now and it is very easy to see just why the club, and many other clubs, are interested in trying to get a deal all done

It will be interesting to see where he ends up if he does leave the club this transfer window, as the next move that he makes in his career could define what level he will reach over the next few years

And £40 million is alot of money to splash on the talent right? Especially as he still has alot to prove in the game
