Chelsea are open to signing Paris Saint-Germain striker Mauro Icardi in the January window
Now we all know that we have one of the very best attacks in world football and a squad that is very much capable of winning that Premier League title by the end of the season.
But there is always room for improvement and Thomas Tuchel knows that he will need to add a bit more depth to that attack in the coming windows to make his squad just that little more deadly
And according to Fichajes.net, we are now ready to make a January move to try and secure a transfer deal for Icardi
The 28-year-old is being strongly linked with a move away from Parc des Princes amid a lack of regular starts under Mauricio Pochettino, who is preferring playing the trio of Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar
The club could launch a January swoop for Icardi, whose current contract at PSG is not due to expire until 2024, knowing that they may be able to get the striker on a more bargain basis
If the reports are true and we are keen to secure a transfer deal for Icardi, the he would be a very good addition to the squad as he is a proven goal-machine
There are other areas of the pitch that the club could improve on, but as we said, adding another striker to that attack would make them alot more deadly for the rest of the season
I would welcome the man
Jamie
