Chelsea have opened talks with N’Golo Kante over contract extension – according to the latest reports.
Kante had been a player that struggled to really make an impact under the guidance of Frank Lampard at the start of last season, and there was even talk that the club were ready to sell in the January window, or at the end of the season.
The likes of PSG and Barcelona were reportedly very interested in the player, but under the guidance of Thomas Tuchel, Kante has once again flourished and proven that he deserves to be a regular at the club

Kante has appeared in 16 Premier League games for the clubso far this term, recording two goals and two assists, and to stop any speculation that he could depart the club on a free deal, the Blues are keen to make sure that he commits for at least another season.
