Chelsea have opened talks with World Cup winning midfielder
Chelsea have opened talks with N’Golo Kante over contract extension – according to the latest reports.
Kante had been a player that struggled to really make an impact under the guidance of Frank Lampard at the start of last season, and there was even talk that the club were ready to sell in the January window, or at the end of the season.
The likes of PSG and Barcelona were reportedly very interested in the player, but under the guidance of Thomas Tuchel, Kante has once again flourished and proven that he deserves to be a regular at the club
His current deal ends at the end of 2023, but According to Fiches, we will open talks with the Frenchman in order to make sure that his current deal is extended at the club
Kante has appeared in 16 Premier League games for the clubso far this term, recording two goals and two assists, and to stop any speculation that he could depart the club on a free deal, the Blues are keen to make sure that he commits for at least another season.

It is no a big surprise to see that Kante will be getting a new contract at the club as he is one of the very best midfielders in world football righty now
He is a player that is like no other at the club right now, so when the announcement gets made, many fans will be delighted to hear that he has agreed a new contract with the club guys
There are younger players out there that can do the job that he does, but they are not ready and not at the level of the Frenchman just yet, so keeping hold of him in the coming windows will be a must for Tuchel and the club
