Chelsea to announce new signing of star that Madrid really want

Chelsea are on the verge of a deal for US keeper Gabriel Slonina, the Blues fans have been told this weekend
Now that there is a new owner at the club – all the speculation – all the rumours about which players will be arriving at the club can now starting place – as Chelsea are free to hold talks – make offers and pay to conclude deals after the sanctions were lifted
That has led to speculation in the media that the club are very much interested in the highly-impressive young American stopper Gabriel Slonina – and have even made contact over a possible deal for the Chicago Fires star
However – it seemed that we would miss out on a move for the player after Slonina’s agent, Jaime Garcia, has confirmed the teenager has his heart set on a move to Real Madrid.
But now it seems that he could be heading to Stamford Bridge after Fabrizio Romano tweeted the Blues are now leading the race over Real Madrid – with an £8million fee agreed -and they are about to sign the talented young man
The Italian journalist wrote: ‘Gabriel Slonina deal update. Chelsea are now really close to signing the talented goalkeeper, they are pushing after Real Madrid bid rejected – talks are in progress with Chelsea to get the deal done soon.’
“€10m fee expected by Chicago for 2004-born GK Slonina,” Romano added.

The lad is a very exciting young talent and having two of the biggest clubs on the planet chasing him shows just how talented he really is
He should have a big future in the game – if he makes the right career choices – and it is easy to see just why he would be unable to turn down a move to the Spanish giants – they are one of the biggest.
