Barcelona have told Chelsea target Ousmane Dembele to find a new club in the coming transfer windows.
The French winger moved to the Catalan club from Borussia Dortmund last summer for a fee of £135.5 million, making him the fourth-most expensive player in the world behind Neymar, Kylian MBappe and Philippe Coutinho.
However, despite his massive price tag he did not have the best first season at the Camp Nou, and was plagued by injuries and poor performances, which led to speculation he was heading for the Barca exit signs during the summer transfer window.
But despite his decent form, in which he has managed five goals in nine games, the Sky Sports website has claimed the Barcelona winger has been told to find a new club in the January transfer window.
And Barca know we may be in the market for a new winger, as speculation continues to grow over the future of star man Eden Hazard, who has suggested he is ready to pack his bags and make a £150 million move to the Bernabeu at the end of the season
The little Belgian is keen to add the Champions League to his collection of titles and feels Madrid will offer him a real chance of success, especially since they have won the competition for the last few seasons.
Could Dembele be a good replacement for Hazard?
Hazard has grown into one of the best wingers in world football and is vital to the immediate success of our great club, but if we are to replace the Belgian then the likes of Mbappe, Neymar or even Gareth Bale would be the better option as they are all superstars of the game.
Dembele is decent but he cannot stay away from injuries in La Liga, so if he made the move here to the physically demanding Premier League, then he would never get a game.
