Chelsea on alert after Juve told ‘to get rid of’ £100 million superstar

Rumours are rife in the media once again that Juventus may seek to offload Chelsea target Cristiano Ronaldo during the summer transfer window.

Despite the fact that he is the clubs main man, there has been some speculation in the media that a move back to the Premier League may be on the agenda, with reports the Italians may have to sell the Portuguese superstar.

That has been played down by the Italians in recent weeks, who have defiantly suggested that they have no intention of letting the superstar depart the club at the end of the season.

But as we said, rumours are still rife and if you believe Reports on Goal, Juve are still struggling, both from a financial and sporting perspective, prompting many pundits to claim that the ‘CR7 project’ has failed and should, therefore, be abandoned

Ronaldo has hit an impressive 25-goals in 27 Serie A games this season, but the Italians are out of the Champions League and are on the verge of losing that League title that they have dominated for the last ten seasons.

Plus the forward’s €31 million-per-annum salary is something that they would like to offload, especially as they are now in debt because of the Covid outbreak.

Look, Ronaldo has been a superstar for many seasons, but he cannot produce in every game and needs his team-mates to chip in, which they have not been doing. But if they do get rid, it would be a massive shock to see him come to the Premier League, he has won everything in England and has nothing else to prove.

Maybe a move to Germany or France may be on the agenda for the great man.
