Chelsea get Coutinho boost, Griezmann to be sold, Chelsea call for Hazard return in icchelseanews roundup…

Chelsea target Philippe Coutinho has not ruled out a Premier League return, amid speculation he could leave Barcelona in January.

Coutinho was a superstar at Liverpool during his time in the premier League and earned that big money move to the Camp Nou just a few seasons ago, but despite his quality, he has never fulfilled his potential at the Spanish outfit.

However, the Brazilian playmaker has hit some form under Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman, notching two goals and two assists in seven LaLiga appearances, but there is still some speculation in the media that he will be one of the big names sold in the January window.

This Barcelona side is ageing and needs to be freshened up, but with the COVID-19 still hitting clubs financially, it means that they will need to sell before they are able to freshen up the side in the coming window.

And amid all the speculation that we are one of the clubs interested in a potential transfer deal, The former Liverpool man told World Soccer: “The Premier League is one of the most exciting leagues in the world and to have the chance to play there with a team like Liverpool will always be something I will feel grateful for.

“It is impossible to say what might or might not happen in the future – but what I know is that right now my only focus is on being successful with Barcelona.”

Chelsea fans call for Eden Hazard transfer as Belgian suffers fresh Real Madrid blow

Hazard was a god during his time with the club and helped the club to win multiple trophies along to becoming one of the very best attackers in the Premier League.

However, the lure of a move to Real Madrid was hard to turn down, and despite the fact that we did not want to lose their star man, they had to make the decision to let the Belgian to leave the club and make his dream move to the Bernabeu

But in his first 18-months with Los Blancos, he has played just 28 times in all competitions, with injuries blighting his time in the Spanish capital. The 29-year-old was making just his third La Liga appearance against Alaves on Saturday, but lasted less than a half, being replaced by Rodrygo after 30 minutes.

Following the game, which Real lost 2-1, Ziedine Zidane revealed he was yet to know the full extent of his injury, but was hopeful it wasn’t a muscular injury: “I think and hope it’s just a knock,” he said at his post-game press conference. “I hope it’s not muscular.”

Now  fans have taken to social media and urged their former star to make a move back to the club: “Come back home,” one fan said . “We love you. I wish you a speedy recovery champ!”

“We need to bring Hazard back home I don’t care if the squad will be too big. Instead of linking with Messi in the transfer window bring our boy home. Make it happen Marina,” a third pleaded.

“Hazard off injured again just proves how he loved and enjoyed playing for Chelsea. Honeymoon is over, come back home,” a fifth replied to the news.

“Hazards move to Real Madrid has been a nightmare. He needs to move back to Chelsea, he’s a shadow of the player he once was,” another Chelsea fan concluded.

Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman is reportedly ready to let France star Antoine Griezmann leave in January, alerting the likes of Chelsea

Griezmann joined Barca from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2019, having established himself as one of the world’s best forwards while winning the World Cup with France.

After firing at least 20 goals in each of the last six seasons, Griezmann scored just 15 times in 48 games in his first season for Barca, a disappointing haul given the €120m (£107m/$134m) fee required to bring him to the club.

He has largely been played out of position since joining Barca, and because of that fact, he has not looked like the player that dominated over at Madrid for so many years and became one of the very best players in world football.

Now reports from Spain have claimed that Barca are expected to return for Lyon star Memphis Depay in January after their bid to sign him in the summer transfer window collapsed, and they have now decided that they will allow Griezmann to leave the club.

France star Griezmann has not been able to win a place in the Catalan side’s starting XI and the club are open to letting him go, if clubs meet their £100 million valuation in the January window.

Look, we do believe that the attacking players that we have at the club are already good enough to help us become Champions by the end of the season, but at the end of the day, if the reports are true and Barcelona are putting Griezmann up for sale.

Guys, we would love him here at the club for many reasons.

What a statement signing he would be right?
