Callum Hudson-Odoi would “love it” if Jadon Sancho snubbed Manchester United and came to Chelsea instead.
Sancho is easily regarded as one of the finest talents in the game right now and has been constantly linked with a move to the Premier League during the summer transfer window after another impressive season in the Bundesliga.
Not only has he already hit double figures with goals and assists this season for Dortmund, but he has become the youngest player in the German League history to reach the 25-goal mark.
It is no secret that we are huge fans, Frank Lampard is a massive fan, but that £100 million asking price has put a number of clubs off, including us, who need to improve in a number of positions in the summer.
But Hudson-Odoi has told his England team-mate that he would love it if he made the move to the Bridge:: “Me and Sancho are mad close, we talk every other day, always seeing how each other are and how we’re doing,” the Chelsea forward revealed on Instagram.
“We make sure that we’re both doing well, obviously he’s doing amazing and having a great season. Obviously, he’s a great player, I love playing with him – he’s a great player to play with.
“The way we play with each other we just know where each other is on the pitch every time and we just love to play with each other. I don’t know [if he will come]. Of course, I would love it if he came to Chelsea.”
If Sancho does come onto the transfer market, then yes there will be a few clubs interested in a potential deal. And fans would love to see him arrive and strutting his stuff at Stamford Bridge.
