Chelsea news: Much talked about £40M star has been told to make switch

Emmanuel Petit believes CHELSEA target Folarin Balogun departing permanently would be best for him AND the Gunners.
The USA striker, 22, has been linked with Inter Milan and Prem clubs following his sensational loan season with Reims in which he netted an impressive 21-goals for the French side in the League.
He has already come out and admitted that he needs to play in the coming seasons – and Mikel Arteta has been unable to give him the assurances that he needs to 100 per cent make the decision to stay put.
Now amid all the speculation and all the rumours – Petit has opened up and announced that Balogun departing permanently would be best for him AND the Gunners, who could get close to £40 million for his services.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –
And ex-Chelsea midfielder Petit told DAZN Bet: “He’s done very well here in France and I know he could be an option.
“But I have been saying for months that the best thing for all parties would be a clean break.
“Arsenal have just signed a new long-term contract with Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus fits so well into how Mikel Arteta wants to play, so they need to buy one more striker or someone who can offer versatility in a wide role as well.
“The more options they have in attack, the better.”
WOULD HE BE A GOOD SIGNING?
The lad is certainly talented and impressed last season – but we want to see a big name striker arrive that is already proven at the top level
