We were unable to sign any players during the summer transfer window, meaning that Frank Lampard will have to work with the current players he already has at the club, despite the fact that he is a bit light in certain areas of the pitch.
However, there is huge speculation in the media about whom the club could sign in the next transfer ban as their appeal date is set, with many reports on the media suggesting that it could actually be good news for Lampard, as he may well be able to spend some serious money, with Ake on the shopping list.
