Chelsea moves to sign £115M star, Blues decide to sell £200k-a-week star, Chelsea encouraged get transfer deal done
Here is the latest Chelsea news, gossip and transfer speculation that you guys could have missed…
CHELSEA have made moves to sign Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, who has constantly been linked with a move away from the Toon ever since the summer window.
We were interested in signing another striker to provide cover and competition for Nicolas Jackson and continue to be linked with Victor Osimhen, but a deal for the Nigerian never happened during the summer window and he made the move to Turkish football.
Alexander Isak has a similar price tag of £115 million and despite the fact that Newcastle have no intention of letting their star man leave, there is still alot of speculation about where he could end up in the coming windows.
Now TEAMtalk has linked the club with Newcastle striker Alexander Isak and stated that they have ‘made enquiries’ to land the Swedish international next year. It is speculated that the Magpies could be prepared to cash-in on the former Real Sociedad marksman, but only for the right price.
Reporter Iomie Stanley has recently urged the big man to join a big club like Chelsea, he said: ‘He has these super top qualities that big clubs might look for.
‘I really hope he can take the next step. Newcastle is a good club. There is nothing wrong with that, But at some point he needs to go to Arsenal, CHELSEA or Man City where he can pour in goals. That’s what his agent must be hoping for,.’
‘Chelsea have Nicolas Jackson, but Isak could make such a difference in that Blues side.
REECE JAMES DECISION MADE
CHELSEA have made the decision that they will allow in-prone defender Reece James to leave the club in the upcoming January window.
The academy graduate was named captain ahead of the 2023-24 season but went on to endure a frustrating campaign, with injuries restricting him to just 11 appearances in all competitions.
This season has been any better and many fans are wondering what will happen with James, as the defender will no longer be first choice when he is fully fit and playing on a weekly basis.
Real Madrid were heavily linked with a move for the defender during the summer window, but in the end a move never happened as the club opted to keep hold of James as Madrid did not want to pay the massive fee it would take to get a deal done.
Now, Simion Phillips provided an important update about the situation on his substack Si Phillips Talks Chelsea. He said as per one of his sources, the club are very likely to put Reece James on sale in 2025.

There will be some big changes for the club in the January window and we are fully expecting the new boss to shake things up – but we are sure that James will be kept in the January window
He is a world class player and just needs to stay fit, i hope that he is not sold unless there is no chance of him getting back to his best
CHELSEA TOLD TO SELL SANCHEZ
Jamie O’Hara says ‘terrible’ Robert Sanchez is a ‘massive problem’ for CHELSEA and will prevent the Blues from competing for major trophies, and has also encouraged the Blues to get a transfer deal done for the goalkeeper.
The club made the decision a few windows ago to bring Sanchez to the club in hope that he could sort out their issues between the sticks, and at times, he has done a pretty decent job for the club since his arrival to Stamford Bridge.
However – he has looked very shaky this season and now Ex-Premier League midfielder O’Hara has labelled Sanchez ‘terrible’ and says we need to dip into the transfer market to sign a replacement for the Spanish shot-stopper.
‘Chelsea are looking good you know,’ O’Hara told talkSPORT after Enzo Maresca’s side beat Leicester City to stay third in the Premier League.
‘They’re a bit shaky at the back still. Sanchez, the goalkeeper, is a massive problem. He’s terrible.
‘But they look good overall. With the quality and the players they’ve got, they will always produce moments. Nicolas Jackson is on fire and proving people wrong too. He’s turning into a really good striker. They’ve got talent all over the park. They’re not a million miles off it now are they?
‘The issue they’ve got is Sanchez. Teams that win the league don’t have a bad goalkeeper. When you look at title winners, they all have one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
‘That’s the issue they have and they have to address that situation in January by buying a top, top goalkeeper.
‘They are hard to find, don’t get me wrong, but that Sanchez is a problem for CHELSEA .’
