Chelsea get door opened in chase to sign £80 million goal-machine by President
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has admitted the club may struggle to keep hold of Chelsea target Moussa Dembele this summer without the lure of Champions League football.
As we have said before, the whole world is gripped by the Coronavirus outbreak that is stopping everything from running smoothly, killing thousands and stopping us from enjoying the game we love on a weekly basis.
But that has not stopped speculation in the media about possible incomings and out-goings in the summer transfer window, with a number of world class players linked with a move to the club and a number of fringe players linked with a move away, players like Giroud.
And there has been constant speculation suggesting that we are ready to pay that big money and try to bring Dembele to the Premier League, even though he could cost in excess of £80 million.
Now we have been boosted after Aulas claimed that they may be unable to keep hold of the striker, He told Le Progrès: ‘I am going to do everything to keep the players.
‘But players who are programmed to play in Europe could want to go elsewhere because we don’t have European football.’
Dembele has been in a rich vein of form this season, scoring 16 goals in 24 league starts and even though he would cost some serious money to bring to the Bridge, he is certainly a player that would be welcome here.
So it will be interesting to see if he we do actually make a move for the striker, as many clubs are keen and he WILL COST SOME SERIOUS MONEY
But He is a machine and a possible great partner for Tammy, and could be a great long-term investment
