Italian boss confirms if world class act will make Chelsea move this summer
It has now been revealed that Mike Maignan is staying at AC Milan this summer transfer window, despite interest from CHELSEA this summer, confirmed manager Massimiliano Allegri.
Winning a trophy and getting Champions League football last season is more than what many people had planned for the club and Enzo Maresca, but the Italian boss really has done a great job at the club.
But there have been many reports in the media that we are looking to improve a number of areas in the squad and adding a new stopper to the side is something that will reportedly help the club really win that Premier League title and really challenge for that Champions League crown next season.
Robert Sanchez has been a massive part of that side last season – but he is not seen as a man that is good enough to play for one of the big Premier League clubs and has really struggled to impress and actually cost the side a few points last term.
That has led to alot of speculation in the media that we will once again delve into that transfer kitty and add a new goalkeeper to the side, and Maignon is a man that has been linked with a move to London for a while.
The club clearly acknowledged the problem by pursuing Maignan, but the issue remains unresolved now he is staying at the San Siro, according to Allegri: ‘Maignan remains the captain and is one of the best goalkeepers in Europe,’ Allegri said on Monday. ‘I am very happy he decided to stay.’

We will be happy if a new stopper is not signed, but we would love to see a world class star like Maignan arrive, so it is a shame that he is not leaving Milan.
