Erik Ten Hag is a man that is on his way to Manchester to become the new boss, and it has been claimed that he wants to make sure that Anthony will be the first signing for the club

Ten Hag brought Antony to Ajax in 2020 and the forward, 22, racked up 12 goals and 10 assists in his 33 appearances las season – developing into one of the best wingers in Europe right now

According to recent reports, Antony’s agents have flown to Europe for talks with United over a £51mi transfer – and the report indicates a deal could be struck in the coming weeks between the two parties.

However – with Romelu Lukaku poised to rejoin Inter Milan on loan,  boss Thomas Tuchel is looking for new attackers and 90Min have claimed that the Blues have made their moves for Antony

The reports claims the club have met Antony’s agents in the UK to discuss whether or not he would be interested in making the move to Stamford Bridge

The lad has a very big future in the game and is making all the right noises, but to become world class, he needs to make the right career choices.

The move to Man United could be seen as a step-backwards as they are not the side that they used to be and the fact that Chelsea are inning titles on a yearly basis and playing in the Champions League – they could be very tempting
