Extraordinary offer will wrap up Chelsea signing of world class midfielder worth £90M

Chelsea are one of the many clubs interested in bringing Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay back to the Premier League this January window.

Right now all he headlines surrounding CHELSEA  are on whom the next boss will be after the decision was made to allow Enzo Maresca leave the club after 18 months in charge of the club.

There has been alot of speculation about who could replace the Italian, with Liam Rosenior the number one target, but there has also been some claims that a move for McTominay could be on the cards for the Blues.

The Scot has become one of the best midfielders in Europe since joining Napoli 18 months ago and ranked in 18th place in the Ballon d’Or list, but his performances last season helped Napoli win the Serie A title last season and his brilliant form has sparked interest from Premier League clubs.

CaughtOffside report that Man United are dreaming of bringing McTominay back home, while Chelsea are also interested in bringing him back to the Premier League, but that Napoli would only consider opening negotiations at around £60million.

Napoli do not want to lose McTominay in January as they push for another Scudetto but the report claims “an extraordinary offer could force a rethink”.

He is more than happy in the Italian League, coming back to Man United would not make sense, while there is not really the space in that CHELSEA side needed to make an impact.
