Chelsea have tabled an offer to sign Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez ahead of Barcelona, according to reports in the media
It is no secret that Frank Lampard is keen to improve this side with some big time signings, and reports in the media have suggested he will indeed get the £200 million it will take to sign some top-class, big-time names players in the summer, with a striker on the list
Olivier Giroud is seemingly destined to pack his bags and leave the club at the end of the season having failed to agree a move away in the January window, while Mitchy batshuayi is more of a thirds-choice striker that is only needed when the other two are injured or need to rest.
And it seems that Inter Milan striker Martinez is now on the shopping list of the boss as SPORT have claimed that both the Blues and Manchester City have tabled an offer to the Italians for their impressive striker.
The striker moved to Milan back in 2018 and has gone onto to be their main talisman this season, netting 16-goals in just 31 appearances, and they are desperate to make sure they get the most money they can.
However, WE will not be the only ones battling for the mans signature, as there has been reports suggesting that he is keen to make the move to La Liga in the summer and sign with Spanish giants Barcelona, who are leading the chase.
