Romelu Lukaku has hailed his ‘amazing’ Inter Milan team-mate Lautaro Martinez and says the Chelsea transfer target is a ‘beast’.
Despite the Coronavirus putting a hold to the Premier League season and despite the fact that the transfer window is still months away, there has been alot of speculation in the media about possible arrivals to Stamford Bridge, with a striker on the agenda.

Now amid all the speculation, Lukaku, who has scored 46-goals alongside Martinez at Inter this season, has labelled the striker a ‘beast, Asked about Martinez on Instagram Live, former Manchester United and Chelsea striker Lukaku said: ‘Amazing, the guy is really a beast. ‘He is doing so well, he keeps improving, I love him.’
It follows former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino coming out and claiming that Martinez is one of the best strikers in the world right now, Pochettino said of his compatriot on the Daily Express: ‘Lautaro is certainly one of the best strikers in the world right now.
‘It’s not just for what he does now, but for what his potential means going forward. If you start looking at forwards for the big clubs, clearly his name has to be in there.’
