Chelsea makes transfer decision over £47M attacker – who is eyeing summer move

Chelsea will block any potential move from a Premier League club to sign Christian Pulisic – Noel Whelan has claimed

The American star was hailed as one of the best and most exciting young wingers in world football – and his performances for Borussia Dortmund lead to Chelsea spending £58 million for the player

However – despite some decent performances in that shirt – Pulisic has not hit the heights that many had hoped for and has fallen further down the pecking order after the arrival of Raheem Sterling

That has led to some shock reports in the media which have claimed that he is ready to leave the club – and the club are very much open to letting him leave Stamford Bridge if they receive the right offer.

However – according to Whelan – the club will block any potential move for the player from Man United – and will only allow him to make a move abroad – if he does leave the club

He told Football Insider: “If Pulisic is going anywhere, I don’t think he’ll be going to Man United – or any other Premier League club.

“Chelsea would much prefer him to go abroad, I’m sure. And there’ll be a queue of suitors waiting to take him.

“Look, Man United are linked with a lot of players. They’re desperate after how they’ve started the season.

“But Chelsea holds the keys. They’ll be pushing him to go abroad – and I think that’s where he will end up.”

Pulisic is a brilliant winger and fans are just waiting for that moment that he shines in that shirt –

He has plenty of time to develop – so for right now – he does not need to go anywhere and should stay and fight
