Chelsea Transfer News: Madrid star on way after Blues submit offer to sign defender
Chelsea have submitted an offer to Real Madrid for defender Achraf Hakimi, if you believe the reports in the media.
There have been some reports in the media suggesting that we are planning for potential new signings in this coming transfer window, as they seek to improve the side, and t will mean that Frank Lampard will be able to delve into the clubs transfer kitty and add a few players to the squad that will add some experience, and quality in the right areas of the pitch, as the defence is not the best at Stamford Bridge
That has led to alot of speculation in the media linking us with a whole host of possible summer signings, with some of the biggest names on that shopping list of Lampard, but now it seems that he has turned his attentions to Hakimi.
According to the Daily Mirror, we have submitted an offer to sign the talented defender, but have been told by Real that they will not decide on Hakimi’s future until the current season is concluded.
The report also claims Los Blancos have earmarked Hakimi to return to the Bernabeu next season with the view that he would be included in the first-team, meaning we will have to offer something special to get a transfer deal done.
Look, we already have a number of talented young players at the club that need to develop into top-class players, who do they need to add another exiting star to the side when they can go out and spend some serious money on a big time player?
