CHELSEA have made a big transfer decision on the possibility of signing Alphonso Davies this summer window.

Alphonso Davies is a player that has the ability to play in a number of positions, and has been on the radar of the club for quite a few seasons, but they have never been able to get a transfer deal done.

However Davies is open to leaving Bayern Munich in the coming transfer windows, a year before his contract expires, and Bayern are open to letting him leave the club.

The German giants have reportedly give the defender an ultimatum over a contract extension – which has not kept his agents happy – and it seemed that a move to Real Madrid may be on the cards for the star,

But The Telegraph recently reported  that the 44-year-old Maresca will prioritise signing a new left-back as he looks to improve key areas of the squad that is lacking in real quality, and Davies was on the list.

However – the club have decided not to go ahead with the signing of Alphonso Davies, who has expressed his desire to join Real Madrid, according to the website.
