Chelsea make 12-goal transfer decision – £75m star tipped to Chelsea – Legend shocked at potential Blues deal
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed –
Blues legend Chris Sutton is shocked to see that Conor Gallagher could be leaving CHELSEA this January window.
There has been constant speculation in the media that West Ham are very keen to try and get a deal done for the midfielder – and even made an offer of £40 million, which was rejected by the Blues as they were seeking closer to £50 million for Gallagher.
He has featured in the opening months of the season for Mauricio Pochettino, but Sutton was stunned that the west Londoners were considering the move, insisting that two decades ago such a switch would be unthinkable and was a damning reflection on Chelsea’s ambition.
He said: “That is remarkable that we are talking about one of Chelsea’s best players moving to Tottenham in January.” Sutton went on to add: “When you think of the last 20 years, it shouldn’t work that way round.
‘Spurs could sell their best player to CHELSEA, but when was the last time something like this happened? It’s quite staggering – the Chelsea captain moving to Tottenham.
“Where’s Chelsea’s ambition with this? Where are they hoping to finish? If you’re a Chelsea supporter, if you sell Conor Gallagher to Tottenham, you’re thinking ‘what on earth is going on’ and Todd Boehly is making it up as he goes along.”
The club’s recruitment has been heavily criticised since the American took charge from Roman Abramovich. Incredible sums have been spent, yet the Blues are facing another mid-table season without a trophy.
‘Some of their marquee signings have found themselves on the bench with Gallagher starting ahead of them.
SANCHO TIPPED FOR MOVE –
Jadon Sancho has been backed to complete a shock move to CHELSEA in the coming windows.
On the back of his £75 million ($94m) arrival from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund in 2021, the highly-rated wideman has registered just 12 goals through 82 appearances and failed to impress like many had hoped.
It is suggested that the working relationship between the England international winger and his coach Erik Ten Hag has completely broken down at Old Trafford. With there seemingly no way back, a move that suits all parties.
Sancho’s publicly hit back against United boss Erik ten Hag and insisted he had been made a ‘scapegoat’ following criticism for failing to reach the required performance in training.
As Sancho’s former Borussia Dortmund teammates, Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland collected awards at Ballon D’or ceremony on Monday night, the English forward continues to train away from Man United’s first team.
Sancho has struggled to recreate the exciting from he showed as a promising talent in Germany, here in his homeland but the club at 6/1 look most likely to take a risk on the 23-year-old.

Look, we were heavily linked with a move for Sancho in the summer window, but Man United opted to put a massive asking price on the head of the lad and a move never even got close.
He is well down the pecking order at Old Trafford now and a move away may be the best option for everyone involved. But we do believe that a move away from the Premier League may be the best option.
SOLANKE DECISION MADE –
CHELSEA have made a decision about bringing Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke to the club.
We spent some serious money on improving that attack in the last transfer window and brought in Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku in hope they could bang in the goals on a weekly basis.
However – Jackson has really struggled to score the amount of goals that fans would have liked to see, while Nkunku has spent much of his time on the sidelines with injury.
That has led to all sorts of speculation in the media that the club will once again delve into that transfer kitty and try to sign a striker for the club over the next few weeks, and they have been linked with some big names.
And that has led to some shocking speculation that we may be interested in signing Solanke this transfer window after his impressive last few months of the season, in which he has netted 12 goals.
However – if you believe the words of journalist Simon Phillips, the club have made the decision not to make a move for the striker, Phillips via his Substack, wrote: “I am told [Dominic] Solanke is not being considered by Chelsea.”

We are not sure that Solanke is able to lead the attack for one of the biggest clubs, he tried here, he tried at Liverpool and failed to do so, so it would be a surprise to see the club bringing him back.
He has done well where he is – so stay there!
