Premier League star opens up and fails to rule out possible move to Chelsea

Leandro Trossard is ruling nothing out when it comes to future transfers, amidst speculation Chelsea are keen

Ever since moving to Brighton back in 2019 – Trossard has been one of the most impressive players for Brighton and a man that is attracting all sorts of interest

After Graham Potter departed the club for a move to Chelsea earlier in the season – it has been widely claimed that the Blues will step up their attempts to get a deal done for the player and will make a move in the January window

Now – the player himself has opened up on all the transfer speculation surrounding his future and has now failed to rule out possibly leaving Brighton in the coming windows

Trossard said: “It’s difficult to say anything about that now, it completely depends on which club would come. If I feel good and things are good on a private level… but I also know how good I am at Brighton, also with new coach Roberto De Zerbi it looks promising.

“I’m a little higher up the pitch now, which gives me more chances to score a goal. And the more chances you get, the more you can score.

“I think that’s the biggest difference from the last few years.”

Trossard is definitely a player that has developed into a real star of the Premier League and would be a solid signing for most clubs

However – we are not sure that a move to Stamford Bridge is the right one to make – there are too many quality players that would get ahead of him in the side and even with Potter there – his game time would become limited
