Chelsea are lining up whopping moves for Napoli duo Piotr Zielinski and defender Kalidou Koulibaly in the coming transfer windows, reports have claimed.
With boss Muarizio Sarri still looking to build a side that is capable of challenging and then winning all the top trophies across Europe, the Italian coach has targeted as number of players whom he feels can come in a do a real job for us in the immediate future.
And two names that could be on the shopping list according to the TMW website, is powerhouse Kouliblay and the very exciting Zielinksi, who has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs already this season.
Koulibaly was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge over the summer transfer window, and was reportedly ready to follow Sarri to London only for the Italians to stop any potential deal as they did not want to lose another big time player after Jorginho, who signed in a deal worth £53 million.
And Zielinksi is one of the most talented and highly-rated players in Europe, with reports both Liverpool and Arsenal are keen to secure a deal, but Sarri knows his inside and out and could tempt him to make the move to the Blue half of London, with the Italian playing the kind of football he enjoys.
Would Koulibaly and Zielinksi be good signings, here is what we think.
We have started the new season in terrific form and are now one of the favourites to land the Premier League and Europe League titles, but to take that next step and beat off the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool, we need a defender like Koulibaly to sit alongside David Luiz and solidify the back-line.
And with the rumours Willian and Eden Hazard could be leaving at the end of the current season, Zielinksi could be the perfect long-term replacement for one of the duo.
But are they worth the kind of money that is being talked about?
